ICARUS Builds

In ICARUS, each Prospector you level up will have to specialize to some extent, as there are far more recipes and talents than you can earn points for.

To be more precise, the game stops giving you Talent points at level 50, when you will end up with 60 total (unlike the Blueprint points, which you can continue earning past that point). If you are playing Solo, you will have 30 Solo Talent points which you can only spend in the Solo tree. You get 30 free Respec Points per character, but buying any more will cost you Ren (Orbital currency).

Don’t worry; in these builds, we’ll take the guesswork out of spending your hard-earned Talent points.

Resource Collecting Builds

• Mining Build
  • For bountiful spelunking, stockpile of rare metals, and endless stone.

• Logging Build
  • For those who really hate trees or just really love chopping them down.

• Hunter Build
  • It’s either you or them… and they don’t really even stand a chance.

Combat Builds

• Close Combat Build
  • For those who believe that all these bear-fearing weaklings just need to learn the art of getting up close and personal.

• Ranged Combat Archer Build
  • Alternatively, why not practice the deadly art of instant headshot kills from a comfortable distance?

Solo Builds

• Standard Solo Build
  • Why bother playing with others when there are so many perks to playing alone? (Ignoring the fact that these options were added for balancing.)
