
Status Effects
Game: Final Fantasy X/X-2
Most units in the game can be afflicted with various effects. How they impact the unit and how they’re removed varies depending on the status effect.
Neutral/Negative Effects

Puts a countdown on the unit’s head (5 for characters, varies for enemies), that will decrease by 1 each turn they take. When the counter hits 0, the unit will instantly die. | N/A | |
Prevents the character from taking any action until they’re cured. Getting killed and Stoned at the same time will cause a character to shatter, removing them from the battle completely. | Soft, Remedy, Al Bhed Potion, or Esuna | |
