The Audio Log can be found in Chapter 2: Outbreak.

This Audio Log is a significant way into the level. After you’ve snuck past the security robot, you’ll end up in a “Surgery M112”. Past the table and the fusebox, sitting on a piece of metal in the corner is Dr. Caitlyn Mehler’s first audio log.

Its not there for me does it change locations for different systems?

I found mines at the other end of the hallway across from the robot, right by the “Decontamination M122 Door”. I’m also playing my Hardcore Run, so I don’t know if difficulty level plays into it and switch them around.
