Stuttering Patch Fix is Live for The Callisto Protocol

If you started playing the game right after the release, you could have easily been one of the unlucky few to experience significant stuttering issues for The Callisto Protocol, potentially to the point of it being unplayable. The community fix for stuttering provided a temporary reprieve but, thankfully, the developers knew that a proper patch fix was due to ensure people can enjoy the game.

Interestingly enough, the Lead Developer of the game have been vocal on Twitter about the situation, keeping everyone updated about the upcoming patch. What some of his responses have implied is that a wrong file was pushed forward for the launch patch, because of “someone rushing”, a “clerical error”.

He has since been actively responding to the discussions about unfinished game launches and assuring the community that the performance issues were pushed out by an accident. Regardless of what the true story is, there is a lot to show that the game’s sales numbers and rating took a serious hit because of this mistake.

A lot of the players were waiting for this fix to jump into the game, so there is hoping that The Callisto Protocol will get its chance to shine despite the unfortunate launch issues!

Any other bugs that are plaguing your playthrough experience? Remember that The Callisto Protocol has an official Discord server where this kind of feedback is happily reviewed by the devs. If you found an elusive fix to one of these, we would love to hear about it!
