A rope with a printed grappling hook attached, this tool can only be used with the rope gun. You can also only ride a zipline if you have the rope gun. After firing it from the rope gun, it can be left for future ziplining, or taken and put back in your inventory.

Where to Find Zipline Rope

Players can find zipline rope in supply crates; these are typically found in camps, bunkers, and caves. The resources inside these crates are random, so don’t expect them to keep being in the same crates after you reload the game in multiplayer.

How to Make Zipline Rope

While in your inventory, hover over the required items (rope is in the top right of the screen/ printed grappling hooks are towards the bottom left) and hit / to “combine” them; this will set them on the middle pad. Then go to the gear in the top right of the middle pad and press / again for your character to combine them into Zipline Rope. In your inventory, Zipline rope will be up by regular rope after you’ve crafted it.
