Where to Find the Repair Tool

The repair tool cannot be found in Sons of the Forest. It must be crafted in the player’s inventory.

After getting the resources to craft it, the actual crafting can be done in the player’s inventory. Hover over each item and press / to place them on the center mat, then select the gear in the top right of the crafting mat to combine them all.

How to Use the Repair Tool

Your base will inevitably be attacked at some point, and the hostiles love to attack the things you built as much as you. After things become damaged, you might see this sign when trying to build.

If that happens, equip your repair tool and look for signs of damage. There will be a log dislodged or a piece missing; if a piece is missing, you will need to replace it, but if there is a log out of place you can repair it (1). Simply equip your repair tool, and swing it at the log; your character will do a motion like they’re hammering, then the piece will go back in (2).
