How to Get Adhesive in Fallout 4

Adhesive is a very valuable component in regards to crafting. Its use is required in almost every weapon, armor, or robot modification.

Adhesive Locations

To find adhesive, you will need to find the junk items that can be broken down into it.These items include duct tape and glue. Adhesive is almost always found this way. Anglers drop pure adhesive when killed, so farming them is a good alternative to scrounging around the Commonwealth. Look for red tool boxes and tool chests, adhesive is usually found in these. Additionally, an easy source of adhesive is Bedford Station. There is a guarantee of at least three pieces. They respawn as soon as you leave the location.

Another way to get adhesive is to create it yourself. You must craft vegetable starch. This is made out of three corn (six caps each), three mutfruit (eight caps each), three tato (seven caps each), and one bottle of purified water (twenty caps each). Scrapping vegetable starch yields five adhesive. This means at the cost of eighty three caps you can get five adhesive for 16.6 caps per adhesive. Crafting vegetable starch is also a great way to gain a large amount of XP quickly.

Adhesive can also be purchased in bulk from merchants. These shipments (25 adhesive) are usually 1,000 caps. The merchants are:

Purified Water

The best way to get purified water is to build an industrial water purifier in your settlement. You can also use the dirty water you have found to craft a purified water. Three cartons of dirty water equals one purified water.

Tato, Mutfruit, and Corn Locations:

You can find tato at TenPines Bluff, Abernathy Farm, and GreyGarden. Additionally, there is a lot of mutfruit and corn located at GreyGarden. Diamond city also has fields of mutfruit and tato northeast of the market area.

Unlimited Adhesive Farming

Plant these crops at your settlement of choice. You will be able to harvest and replant them as you desire. Resting for twenty four hours will allow them to regrow quickly. Combine these three crops with purified water by using the cooking station. You now have vegetable starch. Break down the vegetable starch. Now you have adhesive. Enjoy your unlimited supply of adhesive!
