Where to Find Paper Targets

Paper targets are sort of hard to find, because they rarely drop in supply crates. A good place to that has a lot of crates is the plane crash area in the southwestern part of the island, by maintenance bunker B. If you really want one, head to this area and save and reload your game (this is only available in a multiplayer system). This will reset all the crates that you’ve opened until you find a paper target.

How to Use Paper Targets

These paper targets are used for practicing your targeting with ranged weapons. You can place a stick in the ground at attach the paper target to it so that is about the same height as an enemy. We wouldn’t recommend wasting firearm ammunition on paper targets, but they can be useful when testing different arrows. The stone arrows, 3D printed arrows, and carbon fiber arrows all shoot different distances and also depend on whether you’re using a crafted bow or the compound bow. You can also recover these arrows, whereas you cannot do the same with firearm munitions.
