ESO Beta For PlayStation 4

It’s been a long time coming, but The Elder Scrolls Online is finally launching on console June 9, 2015. Excitement is running high, and tomorrow’s beta test will help ensure that everything is ready for the PS4 launch.

Here are a few of the highlights from Jessica’s announcement:

  1. The ESO beta for PlayStation 4 is by invitation only, and invites are being sent out today (hopeful players had to have already signed up for the beta for a chance to be invited).
  2. The beta test begins on Thursday, April 23 at 10:00 AM EST, and ends on Monday, April 27 at 10:00 AM EST.
  3. Invited players are encouraged to begin downloading the game ASAP.
  4. Unlike the earlier PC/Mac beta tests, the ESO beta for PlayStation 4 does not have a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Participants are encouraged to share screenshots and livestream their adventures.
  5. Beta testers have to choose either the North American or European megaserver to play on.
  6. Participants will be able to play the full console version of the game.
