The Dead by Daylight team continues to impress with their transparent development process, today by showing their roadmap for upcoming updates from now to November. Much of what is shown was already revealed in yesterday’s Developer Update for the upcoming 8.2.0 patch, but now we also know what is coming in (or at least planned for) September, October, and November.
So what is coming? Well, it’s mostly a whole lot more changes to Killers and Perks. It looks like the plan is to continue tweaking underused or weaker Killers and Perks, or Killers people find frustrating to play as or against. Notably, there is also a Perk Updates category, distinct from Perk Tweaks, which shows up in September-October — it appears they’re focusing on underused perks, but we’re quite curious what they plan to do with Distortion, which is quite popular. And will they finally get The Twins to a spot where they feel good to play, without them being horrible to play against?
Also of note is the Finisher Mori, which was announced a while back without much details. Moris were removed mainly due to how they encouraged slugging Survivors, so hopefully BHVR have figured out a way to mitigate that issue with the new Finisher Mori. You can check out the full roadmap below, and give us your predictions for how they’ll change the Killers/Perks in the comments!
