This original Skyrim piano arrangement will inspire you.

Léiki Uëda, a talented musician and huge Skyrim fan, has quite possibly created the best piano arrangement of Dragonborn ever. As you may know, Dragonborn (also known as Song of the Dragonborn) is the name of Skyrim’s main theme, and Léiki has interpreted the song beautifully.

The Skyrim Fansite enjoys promoting the work of artists and musicians who help celebrate Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls with their unique and amazing talents. It just so happens that Léiki is such an artist. He’s a concert pianist and composer from Japan, and he graciously contacted the Skyrim Fansite to tell us about his latest work.

Amazingly, Dragonborn is Léiki’s first virtuosic piano solo arrangement. He plays the song fluently and with great emotion, taking a great song and happily making it even greater. In Léiki’s hands, Dragonborn becomes both tender and passionate, and we’re left in awe at the sheer artistry of the moment.

In the end, words fall short in describing how beautiful and moving this piece is, so you really need to listen to Léiki’s tribute for yourself in the YouTube video at the end of this post.
