Chaos Shuffle Modifier Returns to Dead by Daylight, Alongside Triple Bloodpoints

Back by popular demand, and here for awhile, is Dead by Daylight’s Chaos Shuffle Modifier. Dead by Daylight players will once again get to play matches that don’t consist of the same handful of meta Perks every match — and they’ll get to earn x3 Bloodpoints while doing so. The Chaos Shuffle Modifier will be active from September 24th to October 8th. You won’t be able to earn extra Bloodpoints that whole time, however, as the x3 Bloodpoints is active from September 24th to October 1st.

For folks who missed it the first time, how it works is pretty simple. You can choose Items, Add-ons, and Offerings like normal, but can’t pick any Perks. Instead, you are given four random Perks when the trial starts. You can use the match details screen to read about the Perks if you aren’t familiar — but Survivors will want to hop in a locker or find a dark corner before doing so.

The modifier is available as a separate queue on the game’s menu — to participate, just click Play Modifier (Chaos Shuffle), and then select Killer or Survivor. You’ll then be able to set your loadout and queue like normal. If you don’t want to get into the chaos, never fear, you can play like normal still by picking Play.

Unfortunately, it looks like they aren’t offering the same cosmetic rewards as the last time this modifier showed up, so you’ll have to play it just for the fun of it — a foreign concept these days, to be sure.
