Crafting with the Atronach Forge in Skyrim

Atronach Forge in The Elder Scrolls Skyrim

Located within The Midden (under The College of Winterhold) the Atronach Forge is a mysterious platform outlined by lit candles used to craft many strange objects. It also contains a setting to place a Sigil Stone which is required to craft Daedric items. You can’t specify what you want the forge to craft for you but it seems to do a pretty good job at guessing what you want. Sometimes; however, it summons hostile Atronachs who will not hesitate to attack you.

Before you begin crafting with this forge make sure you buy your supply of Daedra Hearts and Black Soul Gems from Enthir at The College of Winterhold.

The Atronach Forge is a fun thing to experiement with especially if you’re character has been carrying around a lot of “useless” items. Take those items and throw them into the forge and see what comes of it. Sometimes doing this can lead to enchanted weapons and armor or even rare ingredients like fire salts.
