Seeker Aspic is a Mistlands-tier food that raises raise your health by 28, stamina by 14, Eitr by 85, and health regeneration by 3 hp/tick for 30 minutes. To cook 2 Seeker Aspic you’ll need 2 Seeker Meat, 2 Magecaps, 2 Royal Jelly and a level 5 Cauldron.

Acquisition

  • Cooking Seeker Aspic requires 2 Seeker Meat, 2 Magecaps, 2 Royal Jelly and a level 5 Cauldron
  • All necessary ingredients are found in the Mistlands biome

Here’s how you’ll recognize the ingredients needed to cook Seeker Aspic:

  • Seeker Meat is dropped by the Seeker and Seeker Soldier monsters
  • Magecap is a thin blue mushroom that grows in the Mistlands
  • Royal Jelly is a substance dropped by Seeker Brood and found inside Mistlands’ Infested Mine dungeons

The Mistlands biome introduced a spellcasting system to the game, and with it, a number of foods boosting the Eitr resource acting as Valheim’s version of mana. Seeker Aspic is the best Eitr-boosting food you can get without advancing past Mistlands.

Getting the Seeker Meat you’ll need will be simple. The biome is simply crawling with bug-like Seeker monsters that are guaranteed to drop their meat. Occasionally you’ll also find the Seeker Soldier mini-boss who will also drop Seeker Meat.

Magecap is a new mushroom type you’ll discover when exploring the Mistlands. They’re blue, thin, and glowing. They also boost your Eitr, and can be farmed inside Mistlands with the help of the Cultivator tool (Corewood x5, Bronze x5). Just make sure to put your farm in a secluded spot, otherwise you’ll be farming Seeker Meat alongside your mushrooms.

Royal Jelly is a yellow honey-like substance you’ll mostly find inside Infested Mine dungeons. There, it sits in piles on the ground that take 240 minutes to respawn when gathered. It’s also dropped by the tiny Seeker Brood monsters also found inside the dungeon, and spawned by The Queen, the biome’s boss.

Once you’ve collected the necessary ingredients, you’ll need a level 5 Cauldron to put them all together. This means you’ll want to place a Spice Rack (Dandelion x3, Carrot x2, Mushroom x5, Thistle x3, Turnip x3), Butcher’s Table (Ancient Bark x2, Corewood x4, Finewood x4, Silver x2), Pots and Pans (Iron x5, Copper x5, Black Metal x5, Finewood x10), and Mortar and Pestle (Black Marble x8, Finewood x6, Corewood x4) close to your Cauldron. When that’s done, interact with the Cauldron, and you’ll combine 2 Seeker Meat, 2 Magecaps, and 2 Royal Jelly into 2 portions of Seeker Aspic.

Uses

Food

Eating some Seeker Aspic will raise your health by 28, stamina by 14, Eitr by 85, and health regeneration by 3 hp/tick for 30 minutes. You can combine it with up to two other foods, but can’t eat more than a single Seeker Aspic at once.

When you eat Seeker Aspic, it will provide its listed benefits, but they will grow weaker with time. When the buff reaches 50% of its duration, or 15 minutes, its icon will flash and you’ll be able to eat another Seeker Aspic to refresh the effects.

Helpful Tips

  • Seeker Aspic is a great food because it not only provides the highest Eitr boost in the Mistlands, you also get two portions every time you cook it
  • While you can farm Seeker Broods during The Queen boss fight, you should also note all the Infested Mine dungeons and revisit them on occasion, as the Royal Jelly found inside respawns after 240 minutes
  • Stronger Seekers, those with star ratings by their health bars, will drop more Seeker Meat
  • Since you can only grow Magecaps inside the Mistlands biome, placing a portal near your farm is a good idea
