Royal Jelly

Game: Valheim

Food

Jelly fit for kings and queens.

Effects: Health: 15, Stamina: 15, Healing: 1hp/tick
Duration: 15 minutes
Ingredients: Royal Jelly
Biome: Mistlands
ItemID: RoyalJelly

Royal Jelly is an unassuming meal you can find in the Mistlands. Dropped by Seeker Brood and found inside Infested Mine dungeons, it increases your health by 15, stamina by 15, and health regeneration by 1 hp/tick for 15 minutes. Eating it alone at that point in the game is a colossal waste. Not only are its effects negligible, it’s actually a crucial ingredient in several high-tier recipes that boost your character’s Eitr and enable the mage playstyle.

If you do want to eat some raw Royal Jelly, you can do so by right-clicking it in your inventory. The buff it provides can be combined with up to two other food types, but you can’t eat more than one Royal Jelly at a time.

The bonuses Royal Jelly provides will start at full strength but fade over time. When the buff is down to 50% or 7.5 minutes, you’ll be able to eat another piece of Royal Jelly and refresh the effects.

If you’re looking to consume some Royal Jelly, you will obviously need:

  • Royal Jelly

It’s eaten raw and you don’t have to cook it in any way.

Royal Jelly is found in two ways. It’s dropped by Seeker Brood spawned by the Mistlands boss – The Queen – and found inside Infested Mine dungeons. Those same dungeons also have respawning piles of the yellow stuff.
