Mead of Troll Endurance

Overview

Mead of Troll Endurance should really be called Mead of Troll Strength, as it increases the maximum carrying capacity of your character by 250 units for 5 minutes. For such a useful drink, this Mead is relatively easy to make, provided you’re up for some fishing. You’ll be able to start brewing it pretty much right after you discover the Bog Witch in the Swamp biome.

When you have all the resources on hand, combine them in a Mead Ketill into a Mead Base: Troll Endurance. Place this Mead Base into a nearby empty Fermenter and wait 2 in-game days. Afterwards, you’ll get 6 tankards of the Mead.

It’s always a good idea to carry some of this Mead with you when out exploring. It will help you deal with getting overburdened without throwing away any precious loot. You can drink the Mead by simply right-clicking on it in your inventory, or by assigning it to your hotbar and drinking it by pressing the associated button.

Recipe

This is what you’ll need to gather for one Mead Base: Troll Endurance:

• Trollfish x2
• Honey x10
• Powdered Dragon Eggshells

Ingredients

If you know how to fish, then getting the ingredients for Mead of Troll Endurance shouldn’t pose an issue to you:

• Trollfish is a large blue fish found in the waters near the shore of the Black Forest biome. To catch it, you will want to use Mossy Fishing Bait (put together Fishing Bait and a Troll trophy at a Food Preparation Table).
• Honey is a basic ingredient you can start producing after you explore the Meadows biome to find a Queen Bee.
• Powdered Dragon Eggshells are sold by the Bog Witch. A stack of 5 of them will cost you 120 Coins.

Helpful Tips

• Max carry weight increases from different sources stack. Meaning you can combine your Mead of Troll Endurance with things like the Megingjord belt and the Corpse Run buff.
• The Bog Witch sells 5 Powdered Dragon Eggshells for 120 Coins. This means you can produce a total of 30 Meads of Troll Endurance for this price.
