Marinated Greens is an Ashlands-tier food that grants you 32 health, 16 stamina, 95 Eitr, and 4 hp/tick health regeneration for 30 minutes. You cook them in a level 6 Cauldron by combining 3 Sap, 2 Magecaps, 2 Fiddlehead, and 2 Smoke Puffs.
The ingredients are found throughout the Mistlands and Ashlands biomes
Here’s what to be on the lookout for when looking to prepare some Marinated Greens:
You get Sap by attaching a Sap Extractor to an Ancient Root in the Mistlands
Magecaps are thin blue mushrooms that grow in the Mistlands
Fiddlehead is a swirly plant that grows on the ground in the Ashlands
Smoke Puffs are bulbous mushrooms that grow all over the Ashlands
Marinated Greens is the best Eitr-boosting food for exploring the Ashlands. Its recipe consists of the stuff you’ve been collecting throughout the Mistlands biome with a couple Ashlands-specific ingredients on top of that.
To produce Sap, you’ll need a Sap Extractor (Yggdrasil Wood x10, Black Metal x5, Dvergr Extractor). The Dvergr Extractor you’ll need for that is hidden inside Dvergr Component Crates that you’ll find in Dvergr bases throughout the Mistlands. Looting the crates will turn the nearby Dvergr hostile, so you might want to first lead some of the Mistlands monsters to them to simplify your task. When you manage to create a few Sap Extractors, you’ll need to place them on the Ancient Roots that grow all over the Mistlands biome. One extractor produces a unit of Sap per minute and can hold up to 10 of them, so it’s in your best interest to have a few of them going at once.
As you explore the Mistlands, you’ll undoubtedly spot the thin blue mushrooms there – Magecaps. You can gather these, and then plant them still within the Mistlands biome with the Cultivator tool (Corewood x5, Bronze x5) to create a Magecap farm.
To obtain some Fiddlehead, you’ll need to visit the Ashlands biome. These swirly pink plants are relatively easy to spot. They often grow around abandoned structures. Once gathered, they take 300 minutes to regrow. Smoke Puffs are the Ashlands mushroom. They can grow just about anywhere within the biome. Unlike the Mistlands mushrooms, you can’t farm them. When you pick them up, they take 240 minutes to respawn.
With all the ingredients in hand, you’ll also need a level 6 Cauldron (Tin x10). This means you’ll need some Ashlands ingredients for its final improvement. The full list of Cauldron improvements you’ll need includes a Spice Rack (Dandelion x3, Carrot x2, Mushroom x5, Thistle x3, Turnip x3), Butcher’s Table (Ancient Bark x2, Corewood x4, Finewood x4, Silver x2), Pots and Pans (Iron x5, Copper x5, Black Metal x5, Finewood x10), Mortar and Pestle (Black Marble x8, Finewood x6, Corewood x4), and Rolling Pins and Cutting Boards (Ashwood x8, Finewood x6, Flametal x4). When all of these are placed near your Cauldron, interact with it and combine 3 Sap, 2 Magecaps, 2 Fiddleheads, and 2 Smoke Puffs into Marinated Greens.

Food
Eating Marinated Greens will grant you 32 health, 16 stamina, 95 Eitr, and 4 hp/tick health regeneration for 30 minutes. This can be combined with up to two other foods, but you can’t eat more than one dish of Marinated Greens at a time.
The buff you get for eating Marinated Greens starts out strong but fades over time. When there’s just 50% left in its duration, the buff icon will begin flashing, allowing you to eat more Marinated Greens to refresh the effects.
Helpful Tips
When extracting Sap, you’ll need to collect it from time to time. To make it easier for you, set up your extractors close to your Magecap and Jotun Puffs farm, and have a portal nearby
It takes 240 minutes for Smoke Puffs to respawn, and 300 minutes for Fiddlehead. As such, make sure to mark the spots rich in them on your map
