Lightfoot Mead

Game: Valheim

Mead

The bottle is full, yet it feels like it weighs almost nothing at all.

Effects: Jump height: +20%, Jump stamina usage: -30%
Ingredients: Scale Hide x2, Feathers x5, Magecap x5
Biome: Mistlands
ItemID: MeadLightfoot

Lightfoot Mead will be quite helpful when out exploring the rough terrain of the Mountains and Mistlands biomes. It increases your jump height by 20% and makes it so these jumps consume 30% less stamina. Overall, this is quite a tricky Mead to brew. It will require you to hunt some elusive prey and visit the inhospitable Mistlands biome.

After you’ve collected the necessary resources, combine them in a Mead Ketill to create Mead Base: Lightfoot. Place the Mead Base in an empty Fermenter and after 2 in-game days, you’ll get 6 portions of the Mead.

Consuming the Mead is easiest by simply right clicking its icon in your inventory. Since its effects lasts for 10 minutes, you probably have better things to put on your hotbar.

Here’s what you’ll need to gather to create one Mead Base: Lightfoot:

  • Scale Hide x2
  • Feathers x5
  • Magecap x5

The ingredients required for the Mead are listed below:

  • Scale Hide is dropped by Hares in the Mistlands.
  • Feathers are dropped by various birds and found inside the chests you can find in the Meadows and Black Forest biomes.
  • Magecap is a glowing blue mushroom that grows in the Mistlands.
  • Unlike the resistance-granting Meads, the stamina cost reduction of the Lightfoot Mead stacks with other similar buffs like the Eikthyr Forsaken Power.
  • Mistlands Hares, and to a lesser extent Gulls and other birds, are small, fast, and easy to scare. Make sure you’re sneaking and have a good bow when hunting them for their resources.
  • Magecap is a fairly rare resource. However, using the Cultivator tool you can create a farm in the Mistlands to grow them yourself.
