Cooked Deer Meat is a simple early-game recipe that requires you to either be stealthy or have a bow to hunt the deer inhabiting the Meadows and Black Forest biomes.
Acquisition
Cooked Deer Meat is produced by grilling some Deer Meat on a Cooking Station over a Campfire
It takes 25 seconds for Cooked Deer Meat to cook
If you leave it cooking for too long, it will turn into Coal
If you want some Cooked Dear Meat, you will first need to get the Deer Meat to cook. It’s dropped by the deer you can spot running around the Meadows and Black Forest biomes. Deer are peaceful critters that will run away whenever you get too close. As such, if you want to hunt them, you will either need to be stealthy, have a lot of stamina to catch up to your prey, or just have a bow.
Simply throw the Deer Meat on a Cooking Station (Wood x2) over a burning fire and wait 25 seconds. But don’t forget to grab the cooked meat. If you leave it there for too long, it will turn into Coal.
