Cooked Asksvin Tail will provide you with a nice health and regeneration boost when you reach the Ashlands biome.
Acquisition
To obtain Cooked Asksvin Tail, you will need to hunt the Asksvin creatures inhabiting the Ashlands biome, then cook the tails they drop on an Iron Cooking Station
Unlike most Iron Cooking Station foods, it only takes 25 seconds for an Asksvin Tail to roast
Leaving an Asksvin Tail cooking for too long will turn it into Coal
Asksvin are the least unpleasant enemies you’ll encounter in the Ashlands. They resemble larger charred Necks and behave in a similar way except for their powerful jump attack you’ll really want to avoid. When slain, they will drop their tails that you will then be able to cook. With some effort, you’ll be able to tame the wild Asksvin to get easy access to their resources and even turn them into lava-proof mounts.
When you have an Asksvin Tail, take it to an Iron Cooking Station (Iron x3, Chain x3) and place it there. It will take 25 seconds for the tail to cook, so make sure you don’t leave it on the fire for too long. Otherwise, it will turn into Coal.
