Overview

Brew of Animal Whispers is a Mead that will greatly help with taming wild beasts you can find in the game. These include Boars (Meadows), Wolves (Mountains), Lox (Plains), and Asksvins (Ashlands). The Brew will double the speed at which you tame these creatures during the 10 minutes its effect lasts. Brewing it requires discovering the Bog Witch and doing a fair bit of running around the Mountains biome.

After collecting all the necessary ingredients, you’ll want to combine them in a Mead Ketill into a Mead Base: Animal Whispers. Then, put the Mead Base into an empty Fermenter and once 2 in-game days have passed, you’ll get 6 Brews of Animal Whispers.

Since the Brew’s effect stays active for 10 minutes, your best bet is to drink it by right-clicking on it in your inventory screen. You can also opt for assigning it to your hotbar and drinking it from there by pressing the associated key.

The recipe for the Brew of Animal Whispers is deceptively tricky:

Onions only exist in the game as a rare drop from the chests found inside abandoned buildings in the Mountains biome. Finding the seeds can take you a long while. Once you do find the seeds, you will be able to farm them at your main base in the Meadows using the Cultivator tool.
Carrots grow in the Black Forest biome. You’ll recognize them by their white flowers sticking from the ground. Once you get some, you will be able to start farming them using the Cultivator.
Pungent Pebbles are something the Bog Witch sells for 125 Coins per 5 Pebbles.

Helpful Tips

Onion Seeds can be found inside chests in abandoned huts, towers, and stone circles in the Mountains biome. They’re not a guaranteed drop, so if you don’t find them right away, just keep looking.
You can grow Onions and Carrots using the Cultivator tool in the Meadows, Black Forest, and Plains biomes.
The Bog Witch sells 5 Pungent Pebbles for 125 Coins. For this price, you’ll be able to produce 30 Brews of Animal Whispers.
