Blueberries are the Black Forest counterpart to the Raspberries you find in the Meadows.
Acquisition
Blueberries are found on bushes growing in the Black Forest biome.
Blueberry bushes respawn naturally after 300 minutes.
Blueberries grow in abundance all over the Black Forest biome. You’ll recognize them by their bushes packed with tiny blue berries. Due to their many uses and the fact you can’t grow them yourself, you’ll probably want to mark the locations where you find Blueberries. The bushes regrow after 300 minutes provided you don’t destroy them with your weapons.

Food
If you eat Blueberries raw, you’ll get a bonus of 8 health, 25 stamina, and 1hp/tick extra health regeneration for 10 minutes. To eat Blueberries, simply right-click them in your inventory screen. Their effects can be combined with up to two other food sources, but you can’t eat more than one bunch of Blueberries at a time.
When you eat Blueberries, you’ll receive their full listed effects. Over time, these effects will fade. Once the buff timer reaches 50% or 5 minutes for Blueberries, the Blueberry buff icon will begin flashing and you’ll be able to eat another one and refresh the effects.
Cooking & Crafting
While you can definitely eat Blueberries raw, you’ll be wise to save them for later to use in advanced recipes and Meads. And not only that, you’ll also be able to use them while decorating your base. Check out the Recipes section for a comprehensive list.
Taming
You can feed Blueberries to wild boars in order to tame them and create a boar farm that will provide you with Boar Meat and Leather Scraps.
In order to tame a boar, start by creating a pen, preferably surrounded by a Roundpole Fence, in a safe location. Find some boars nearby and when they spot you, lead them to the pen. Trap them inside by either closing the pen’s gate or placing the final piece of the fence, then move away so that the boars lose aggro (the red exclamation mark above them disappears).
The next part is a bit tricky. You need to approach the boars so that they notice you (a yellow dot appears above them), but don’t yet become aggressive. When they’re in this state, throw some Blueberries inside the pen. The boars will eat the Blueberries and you’ll see yellow hearts above them. This means they’re in the process of being tamed. In this state, boars can still attack you, so move away from them, but not too far. For the taming process to work, you need to be in the vicinity of the pen and the boars must not be attacking you. It takes 30 minutes to tame a boar. If done right, you’ll need a total of 3 Blueberries to tame a boar. You can also use the Brew of Animal Whispers to double the taming speed.
Once tamed, you can start breeding and farming your boars, provided you have at least two of them.
