Square Enix Hosts Speedrun Challenges for Stranger of Paradise: FF Origin

Just a week after the release of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Square Enix began a speedrun challenge for all players! The challenge begins today, and goes until March 30th. Well, actually, there are three different types of challenges throughout the event, each with different objectives:

• The first challenge is a speedrun through the entire game. This involves playing the game from the “Illusion at Journey’s End” level, through the boss in Terra Tortura as quickly as you can.
  • This challenge will run from March 25 at 6:00 pm GMT/11:00 am PDT, until March 28 at 6:00 pm GMT/11:00 am PDT
  • The winner will receive a Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Bomber Jacket

• The second challenge is to unlock all 27 Jobs. This involves unlocking every Job in the game as quickly as possible, however you can.
  • This challenge will run from March 28 at 6:00 pm BST/10:00 am PDT, until March 29 at 6:00 pm BST/10:00 am PDT
  • The winner will receive a Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Bomber Jacket

• The final challenge is to get as far as you can in the game in an hour. Start the game from the ‘Illusion at Journey’s End’ level, and get through as many missions as you can in an hour.
  • This challenge will run from March 29 at 6:00 pm BST/10:00 am PDT, until March 30 at 6:00 pm BST/10:00 am PDT
  • The winner will receive a Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Bomber Jacket, while the runner up will receive a Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Crystal-Making Set

How to Submit Your Entry for the Challenge?

• For all three challenges, you must record your run for it to be valid, as the analytics team will be watching them to check your entry.
• In order to enter, you must first have a Twitter account.
  • Then, you must send a link to a Twitch, Facebook, or YouTube video/VOD to @fforigin and @gamesight on Twitter — include both of the accounts for your entry to count!
