That time of year has come and gone. While others start preparing for the Oscars, us gamers are reflecting on what happened during the Steam Awards. Although, this year, I missed a few of the categories the winners are now decided. We all know the Steam Awards have some very strange categories but suffice to say, it is a fun little event to get involved in. So, without any further ado, let us see who won what.

The “Even Better Than I Expected” Award:

I’m not sure I agree with all of the winners but there you have it. I was happy to see some of my favourite games made it onto the list. Stardew Valley definitely being one of them. The Steam Awards may not be anything official as far as award events go but it is a lot of fun. Plus, I don’t think any developer would mind winning one of these. Cuphead definitely deserves the “Even Better Than I Expected” award.
So, do you agree with the winners? They may have some strange categories but Steam know how to throw an event. You can still get some discounts on these games until the end of 4th January. And, don’t forget to claim your badges and trade your cards. But, for now that’s all folks! Until next year.
