Heroes of the Seven Islands is a love letter to RPGs and adventure games of the 90s, most notably the early Might and Magic games. It also takes its inspirations from comic books, which led to its strikingly unique art style where each frame was hand-drawn on paper and then digitally animated. Developed primarily by an individual who goes by Rap2h and published by 2 Left Thumbs, Heroes of the Seven Islands is now live on Steam, priced at $11.99 or your regional equivalent. That’s not including the 15% launch discount that will be available through September 23, 2025.
This heroic adventure in a fairy tale world promises roughly 10 hours of gameplay for a single playthrough, a main quest to tackle and an open world to explore, a fast-paced turn-based combat system, and 36 unique tracks of Dungeon Synth music. Heroes of the Seven Islands Demo
If the above wasn’t enough to convince you that you need this game in your life, Steam also offers a free demo. The demo is quite generous in its content. It features the full scope of the game’s systems and 2 out of the total 7 islands you can explore at your leisure. This way you can explore the game’s opening sections and if they hook you, purchase the rest of it and continue your adventure.

Heroes of the Seven Islands Description
Choose your fate in this NON-LINEAR HIGH-FANTASY ADVENTURE
FURAX THE INDESTRUCTIBLE, fleshless carcass and soulless body, has arrived through an inter-dimensional rift in the colorful, carefree world of Émeyralia, to spread SADNESS and DESPAIR. Nothing seems to be able to stop him: his influence grows daily, many disciples join him and NIGHTMARE CREATURES appear on every continent.
According to the prophecy, only THE ORACLE could defeat him, but he retired centuries ago. To find him, the 7 keys held by the 7 rulers of the 7 islands of the Emerald Archipelago must be gathered. FOUR HEROES, the bravest of the brave, are chosen for this quest. The future of Emeyralia is in their hands.
