How to Find Sorcerer’s Rise Crest in Elden Ring: Nightreign

If you’ve been playing Elden Ring: Nightreign, you’ve likely come across the mysterious “Wizard’s Towers” that the game calls “Sorcerer’s Rises.” The only problem being that these large structures are magically sealed with a blue seal, and when you approach one, it only states “Find Crest.” And, despite your best effort, you’ve yet to be able to actually find the crest required to enter.

This guide should help you with finding where the crest is hidden — and there are some very tricky hiding spots — so that you can access the magically-themed Dormant Power atop the rise.

When you approach a Sorcerer’s Tower that you haven’t yet found the crest for, it will be sealed by a blue, magical seal. This seal can be in the doorway at the bottom, or it can be on the second level of the Rise. In either case, it will simply tell you to “Find Crest” before you can get around in.

In our testing, we were unable to find any way around this, so that means it’s time to go crest-hunting.

While the crests are fairly obvious once revealed, being large, blue, glowing cigils either in the air or on the ground, actually revealing them is usually the tricky part. Most are hidden within objects that are out of place, and once those objects take damage the crest will reveal itself, and you can break it.

For example, in the screenshots below, you can see that there is an unusual copse of white trees, unique from everything else in the environment. Because it is out of place, we know that the crest is contained within, and htting or rolling into the tree will reveal it.

The list of places we’ve found crests is as follows:

  • Hidden within a small growth of white trees next to the tower.
  • Hidden within a section of rubble next to the tower.
  • Hidden in an unusual tree stump leaning against a rock.
  • Hidden in a bush that glowed faintly blue.

It is important to remember that if you don’t find the crest quickly, it might be worth abandoning the tower. It is not usually worth it to spend more than a minute looking for a crest.

Once you destroy the crest, you will be able to enter the Sorcerer’s Rise. Climb up to the top, and you will receive a Dormant Power containing 2x Blue+ Armaments (usually a staff) and a 1x Blue+ Talisman, making it one of the only sources of Talismans in the game.
