Remembrance Bosses – Elden Ring: Nightreign

While Elden Ring: Nightreign doesn’t have much in the way of a traditional narrative, it does let you follow the stories of its eight Nightfarers by reading and playing their Remembrances. Along the way, you will inevitably be given “Personal Quests” that will pit you against powerful bosses in Limgrave and elsewhere. These bosses can be tricky to find and prepare for, however, which is why we made this guide, in order to walk you through each Remembrance Boss.

Remembrance Bosses are, simply put, Bosses that you need to defeat in order to complete Remembrances for each Nightfairer (playable character). Each Nightfarer fights at least one boss as part of their Remembrance quest, and these quests are how they unlock rewards such as new Relics, unique Chalices, and special Remembrance Garb.

Most Remembrance Bosses are unique to their associated Nightfarer, though they are usually similar to existing enemies or Bosses (just with a different name). Some of these Remembrance Bosses are fought around the Roundtable Hold or in memories as a solo Nightfarer, while others can be found in Limveld and hunted with a party. Because only one Personal Quest can be active during any given Expedition, you can only fight one Remembrance Boss during any Expedition, though it will always spawn in the same spot.

In order to fight Remembrance Bosses, you will need to go to the Journal in the Roundtable Hold, switch to the tab of the character that you want to complete a Remembrance for, and select “Start Remembrance.”

Once you’ve done that, you will enter a Remembrance version of the Roundtable Hold. You can tell by the vignettes around the edges of your screen, or by checking the map and seeing “Reliving Remembrance” at the top of the screen. You can use the map to locate quest markers around the Roundtable Hold. You should go to each and exhaust the dialog of whoever is there, which will often eventually lead to a “Personal Objective.”

For Remembrance Bosses in the Roundtable Hold itself, these Quest Markers will eventually lead to those boss fights, either by interacting with an object or talking to a person.

For Remembrance Bosses in Limveld, you will need to start an Expedition. At the side of the screen, you will see “Personal Objective,” which will clarify what you are meant to do. In order to make sure it will be active, since it will be disabled if the host of the game you join has their own Personal Objective, we actually recommend you complete most of Personal Objectives solo.

In order to actually complete the Personal Objectives, you will need to go to the red marker that will appear on your map. Once there, the Remembrance Boss associated with the objective will spawn, and you can defeat them in order to get their rewards (Runes right away, and a special reward when you return to the Roundtable Hold).

It should be noted that you still need to finish the Expedition to get the reward, meaning you will need to keep playing until you either defeat the Night Lord or are defeated yourself.

Below is the list of all Remembrance Bosses in Nightreign, together with their associated Nightfarer, which Remembrance Number they arrive in, where they will be fought, and what your reward for defeating them will be.
