Dotted around Limveld as persistent Locations are several Evergaols. By presenting a Stonesword Key to the imp statue nearby, you will be able to summon a powerful Boss from within the Evergaol, which you can then take for Runes and Dormant Powers. But, there are a wide swath of bosses that could be contained within, and it can be tricky to know when it makes sense to take the risk (and the time) to unleash them.
That’s where we come in, with this guide existing in order to help you know what bosses you might find within the Evergaols, and to help you know when you should fight them.
What Are Evergaol Bosses in Elden Ring: Nightreign
Evergaol Bosses are bosses that are contained within Evergaols, and which you need a Stonesword Key in order to fight. these are typically challenging bosses, being about equivalent in their range of strength to Field Bosses. Defeating them gives a unique type of Dormant Power that gives you two options, either a “Rune of the Strong” which grants extra Runes straight away, or an Upgrade. Stronger bosses give a Rune of the Strong worth 20,000 Runes and Purple+ Upgrades, while weaker bosses give a Rune of the Strong and Blue+ Upgrades.
How to Fight Evergaol Bosses
You can fight Evergaol Bosses by going to an Evergaol, which you can locate on your map, and then finding the Imp Statue next to it that takes a Stonesword Key. These keys are random drops from chests and crates throughout the map, and you will need one in order to open the Evergaol. Once you have one, you can simply give it to the imp statue, and then the Evergaol Boss will be summoned a moment later to fight.
Evergaol Bosses in Elden Ring: Nightreign
Below is the full list of Evergaol Bosses in Elden Ring: Nightreign. In addition to noting the Runes and Dormant Powers they drop, we’ve also made note of the “Effort” it takes to defeat them; this estimation should give you an idea of how difficult they are as a boss and of roughly how long it will take to defeat them, relative to other Bosses. Even a very skilled, high level party might take a while to defeat a Hard boss, while a Trivial boss should be a pushover even for relatively new players early on.
