It is your job to build up your planet(s) to protect and conquer whatever comes your way and to win the battle by destroying the enemy planets core. Play through your adventures in single player or online and local multiplayer in this new indie space adventure.
Storyline
Your first adventure in Worbital will be to set off with their in-depth tutorial system that teaches you how to become the best space pirate anyone can ever dream of becoming. The primary drive of Worbital’s campaign is fighting with enemies that linger around the following galaxies and destroy their planet’s core by inhabiting planets around them and have an epic laser, and rocket shoot outs.
During the campaign, you’ll find yourself coming across more and more foes that get a little more difficult along the way. Worbital has an impressive AI system when it comes to progression. Although there have been some nerfs to the AI system, you might still find yourself having to grind lower level campaigns before you progress to the following level(s).
Gameplay
With gameplay being a big thing in any game, Worbital comes through with an intense gameplay experience playing with friends or just the AI system. With a vase weapon arsenal to choose from, you will always find yourself deflecting incoming missiles or firing back at your foes. Although you might find yourself in a constant state while fighting against enemy planets, the ending drive of revealing your enemies core of their planet is always a fun site.
With interesting physics in a space game like Worbital not standing out a whole lot. The anticipation of having to go around the orbital system of space to reload and to get a precise shot on your enemy is always a fun time.
Graphics
While graphics don’t stand out too much while in battle with your foes, Worbital has some neat character art during dialogs and during your progression before battle while you build new towers to defend and fight against your opponents. With different looks of planets being random at times, it lets you know that the devs put the right amount of effort to make sure every level has something different other than who you’re fighting against during your journey through the galaxy.
Sound
Sound effects in any shooter can be a bit tricky while doing the same thing over and over again. In Worbital, you won’t be hearing any spoken dialog, but instead, you’ll need to click through pop-up text that doesn’t seem to stop. While this would have the same outcome if there ever verbal dialog being displayed/heard, Worbital still stands out when it comes to action-packed music during your battles with enemies and during your adventure around the galaxies.
