If you are interested in a visually stunning game on a mobile platform, you definitely will not want to miss Seven Knight. After I spent quite some time playing this game (almost 3 years), this is one of the best free to play friendly games to play.
Seven Knight was released on 15 October 2015 by Netmarble Corp. (A South Korean game publishing company). It is one of the most famous mobile games around South Korea due to the high quality visual effects, animation and the unique detail on every single character, as well as their skills.
A few months back, Seven Knight celebrated their 3 year anniversary of the games release. It was one of the best events for players to collect the generous amount of rewards from the game itself through daily log in, some daily quests, dungeons and more.
Heroes
Heroes are categorized into Special Heroes, Normal Heroes, Asgar, Aisha, Collaboration events and Misc. Heroes in Codex. The few main hero categories that we usually play in game are Special Heroes, Normal Heroes, Aisha and Collaboration events. The others are mainly used for xp farming as they earn you more rubies and topaz’. Misc. heroes are mainly the evolution materials for all the heroes.
One of the most well-known categories is Special Heroes. It includes Seven Knight, Dark Knight, 4 Lords, Old 4 Lords, Hidden Masters, Revolutionaries, Night Crow and Pentagons. Further heroes will be added and have further evolution based on the storyline of the game. They also have different types such as offensive, defensive, Support, Magic and Universal.
Evolutions
From the lowest of 1 star to the highest 6 star heroes, they can become even stronger through the Awaken System and the recent Myth Awaken System. Through these Awaken systems, heroes not only increase their stats but they will also gain a new Awaken Skill as well as enhance their own passive skills.
Seven Knight
If you are new to the game, one of the more unusual things in Codex (Heroes Categorized book) is that there are 8 heroes categorized in Seven Knight. Based on the stories, Rudy, Eileene, Rachel, Dellons, Jave, Spike and Kris are the original Seven Knight members. After an incident, Dellons joined the Dark Knights and Vanessa become one of the latest member of the Seven Knights.
Items
Armor, Weapons, Accessories and Jewels are the few necessary pieces of euipment Heroes can use for further enhancement of their original stats. Each accessory has a different effect that a Hero can use on their enemies or buff the heroes themselves with statusses such as such as death effect, paralyze, immune to all attack and Lifesteal.
Pets
Like most games of this type, Seven Knight also has pets to boost and buff the team depending on the mode you happen to be playing. Other than farming some rubies and topaz’ for summoning some new heroes and buying new skins, I usually go with the pets that increase my teams physical or magical damage by percentage, based on our own team type.
Battle
The battle icon is the place to try out your own team true power. There are 9 places in total. (Adventures, Castle Rush, Dimensional Arena, Arena, World Boss, Special Dungeons, Guild Raid, Guild Dungeon and Guild War.)
Adventure is the most common battle, where everyone can play. Special Dungeons are where you find the evolution items for the Heroes. Castle Rush, Guild Dungeon and Guild War are Guild Play modes.
Both Arena battles let you earn a generous amount of rubies and topaz’ when you rank up the first time and at the end of the season but the difference between them is that Arena is on auto-mode, while Dimensional Arena you can control the usage of skills yourself.
Smart
Under the Smart icon, you can earn rewards like rubies, topaz, coins, accessories, dragon armors, dragon weapon and more. The icon is named Smart because the game automatically controls your heroes just like in the Arena battle.
Voice Cast and Server
Seven Knight’s Heroes are all uniquely voice-casted by a few teams of voice actor such as Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese on the different servers but you can also switch according to preference.
The game system on the Japanese server has a slightly different approach in term of gameplay and the Chinese server has a different design on some of the heroes, mainly on the Chinese heroes. Other than these two servers, Korean and Global are very similar, the only difference is that Korean has the latest update first compared to the other three servers and some different balance changes of heroes accordingly to each server.
