One Finger Death Punch 2 does a fantastic job when it comes making sure the user always has a different consistency during each of their battles. While playing One Finger Death Punch 2, you'll find yourself playing for a lot longer than you thought you have been because of the amount of gameplay the game has and the overall way the game grasps the user to ensure they feel the rhythm of the game.
One Finger Death Punch 2 is a side by side kung-fu fighting button presser by Silver Dollar Games. Being the sequel to One Finger Death Punch, which was released back in 2014, the sequel comes at us with all new kung-fu fighting styles and a variety of new foes to test your brawling skills on. Experience the fast passed cinematic brawler while pressing only two buttons on a keyboard, or two controls on your controller for consoles. One Finger Death Punch 2 stays true to its words when they say don’t button mash! Experience this fast passed kung-fu fighter indie game to become the master of kung-fu.
Gameplay
While testing your kung-fu fighting skills in One Finger Death Punch 2, you’ll understand why so many gamers enjoyed the first release of One Finger Death Punch. While One Finger Death Punch 2 is a pretty simple two-button indie game, it still has a right amount of gameplay to go around. During your game sessions, you’ll come across different enemies that will test your skills of making sure your eyes are always on the screen.
While there might be simple enemies that you need to hit once, some foes will ask for a “Dance Off” if you will, that will consist of you pressing both of your mash buttons in different orders to win your kung-fu fighting battles. With multitasking just being a small task to remember, One Finger Death Punch 2 is a great indie platformer that will make sure you never have a quiet moment.
Graphics
The look that One Finger Death Punch 2 gives off is simple, yet pleasing to the eyes while going through the fast passed situations that the game gives us. While One Finger Death Punch 2 is a just a pure stickman kung-fu fighter indie, the way the devs over at Silver Dollar Games have placed the different widgets to indicate the current attacks with your score and health is spot on to make sure it doesn’t get in the way while focusing on the enemies that come your way. While not a lot has changed from the first One Finger Death Punch game, the sequel comes to us with a new clean look to make sure every level is different, so repetitiveness doesn’t stand in your way.
Sound
With sound being one of the critical things that any Indie game needs to ensure the user doesn’t feel as though they’re in a constant state, One Finger Death Punch 2 comes through when it comes to sound effects for your kung-fu fighting moves. When it comes to music though, One Finger Death Punch 2 doesn’t have the best soundtracks like other fast passed fighting games to ensure the user feels the rhythm of some kind to become the character they are playing in-game. But at the end of the day, One Finger Death Punch 2 still keeps you intrigued enough to brush off the sound factors and feel the consistency of this great game.
