When you’re happily ruling your tribe with honour, and you get sucked through a portal and end up naked alone and forced to fight your way through numerous equally bloodyminded, and highly trained warriors for your freedom, you can’t be blamed for feeling a little annoyed. Though that is the lot you’re given in the strategy combat game Warriors : Rise to Glory. Even better news is that Gavra Games have announced that Warriors: Rise to Glory will be going on Open Beta in early 2020.
Warriors: Rise to Glory is a turn-based combat game with RPG elements. You play as a fierce warrior, fighting in the arena to become the most feared gladiator in the world to find freedom – and revenge against those who butchered your ancestors! Warriors: Rise to Glory! is available on Steam Early Access for $9.99 / €9.99 with a single-player campaign and local hotseat multiplayer.
Ayziz is a
mad emperor and as such rules over the Indiekingdom with an iron fist. Either
through malevolence or sheer boredom he opens up a number of portals and
transports thousands of warriors from across different lands and time periods
to fight in his arena. Although the thousands of warriors looks incredibly
similar they are each individuals and the only way they are going to get back
to their home and timeframe is to defeat all on comers in Ayziz’ sick twisted
games.
You were a
simple chieftain. You ruled with honour and justice, but when you get sucked
through a portal and end up in Ayziz’ arena, completely naked, alone and
incredibly peeved, the only thing you can do is to swear vengeance and vow to
defeat all who stand in your way of getting home. If that means defeating and humiliating
your opponents with over the top combat moves, in front of a bloodthirsty crowd
then so be it.

£7.99. At present, the game includes a single player campaign with survival
mode, a mini-game, local multiplayer and a few more things ready to test your
mettle. As they approach full release, more content will be added by way of
major updates, including new bosses, weapons, armour, multiplayer modes and a
deeper single player campaign. During the Early Access, the developers will be
looking towards the Steam community to help shape the game.
