Haemimont Games in conjunction with Paradox Interactive are almost ready to release the first expansion for their sci-fi settlement builder, Surviving Mars. Space Race, launching on November 15th for PC, xBox and Playstation introduces rival colonies for you to race and compete against.
In Surviving Mars, it’s your job to find a suitable space agency, who’s willing to fund the development of your colony. You’ll build the infrastructure, conduct research into new technologies, and utilize drones in order to ensure the survival and safety of your new Martian colonists. Build your colony, protect your citizens all the while getting closer to unlocking the mystery of mars itself.
The introduction of rival colonies, with the Space Race expansion, colony managers will see a completely new side to extra-terrestrial colony management. You’ll be racing against these rival colonies to unlock milestones and gather resources; will they be your allies or business rivals. Whichever route you choose, space just got that bit busier.

You can trade with, respond to distress calls for, issue distress calls to, and even steal important colonists from these competitor colonies as you establish your territory on Mars.
No matter how deep in space you go, you need to follow the money. Each sponsor comes with unique, new sets of goals to complete as you further their individual goals for colonization.
Each sponsor has their own unique vehicle and building that only their colonies can construct and take advantage of in their mission. Express the individuality of your space-faring conglomerate inside and out of your domes.
