Hoverloop - Drone Combat Arena Game gets Massive Update

If you’re wondering when there’ll be a decent contender to Rocket League then we might just have that answer for you, in the name of Hoverloop, a futuristic drone combat arena game published by Cronos Interactive and developed by Not a Company, already in Steam Early Access. Hoverloop has just had a major update that’s brought in a whole load of new content including a brand-new combat arena set inside a mine and a new Team Deathmatch mode.

Hoverloop is a multiplayer arena shooter that pits high-speed hover drones in aerial combat. You take your mechanised combatants into the air to fight for glory across a number of maps and game-types, including Deathmatch and Survival modes. Customise your drones’ abilities and appearance, and choose powerful abilities like Death Rays, Invulnerable Shields and Teleportation.

What else is in this update? There’s a brand-new tutorial to help players get to grips with the game. There’s a bundle of new drone chassis and customization options as well as a huge load of UI and feedback refinements.
