Man, it is an exciting week to behold today. Today we now have the official release date of the new God of War! Here is a “something” for us to drool over.
What a great trailer! As the footage shows, we get a bit more about the journey of Kratos and Atreus. As many gamers can tell, the main difference from previous installments is the style of gameplay. It’s very reminiscent of the likes of studio Naughty Dog. Clearly, story is the main driving force here. Camera work during the game makes scenes feel intimate and grounded. Also, as a result of the camera work the gameplay looks immersive and according to Santa Monica Studios, the game will look like one continuous shot. Cory Barlog has expressed his excitement of the game by saying.
This has been a long journey just to reach this point, so it is a little bittersweet to think that we are only a few months away from that journey finally coming to an end. While I am sad, I am also excited because it means everyone will get their hands on this crazy adventure we been crafting for nearly five years!
Five years is quite some time and I am just hopeful the game is as successful as they want it to be. We’re also getting different editions upon release and pre-order bonuses. Let us see what they are, shall we?

With any pre-order edition of the game, buyers will get three legendary shield skins for Kratos. I’d say the black and blue are my personal favorite! Along with the bonus skin, you also get +10 Luck and 1 Enchantment Slot. If you’re not familiar with the God of War series, Luck influences
