Genetic Disaster, Co-op Craziness on Steam!

Genetic Disaster is Team8 Studio‘s first game and it’s out on Steam now, after a successful and well-received early access period, it finally gets its full release, and I can’t wait to play it.

Genetic Disaster is a roguelike co-op twin-stick shooter, where you try to run away from the “mad mansion”. It has already proven to be a ton a fun in its early access stage, especially when playing with friends. Genetic Disaster offers to be really over-the-top. Some of its main features being, friendly fire, procedurally generated maps, over 65 unique weapons and random mechanics that change over time and completely change the way you play the game.

Crazy Gameplay

Genetic Disaster looks great. The art style is awesome, with all art being hand painted and being so colourful. It really welcomes you to play the game, and that is exactly what Team8 Studio wants. They even state on their steam page they are aiming for accessibility. They are trying to achieve this accessibility through their art, the crazy gameplay and the ever-changing maps of the game. The art is definitely one of the main selling points of Genetic Disaster and is something they can already be proud of.

Team8 Studio is a small studio from France that loves and specializes in co-op games. this is what they said on their website “Because we also are players, we enjoy imagining and producing what we always lacked of: those games where one carries the princess while the other distract the dragon, combining your efforts with mates by pushing them into the void to check the depth, before fighting back to back in a gladiator’s arena; this is our vision.”
