Demon Attacks Introduced to Square Enix RPG Oninaki

A few days ago, Square Enix introduced a horde of daemons who will be helping the player in the upcoming all-new Action RPG developed by the Tokyo RPG Factory Team.

Oninaki tells the story of Kagachi a young Watcher who embodies the tenants of reincarnation, whose job is to user the lost souls of this world onto the next. When he meets a young girl called Linne, with no memory of her past, their fates soon become entwined across a tale of death and blood. Along his travels, Kagachi soon meets Kushi a famous Watcher and honored leader, and the cruel and heartless Night Devil, a swordsman from the past who’s hunting Linne.

Kagachi must harness the power of daemons, lost souls who can’t reincarnate, and use them in battle. Each daemon represents a different weapon type, and can be switched between in real-time in order deal powerful blows to your enemies, with unique skills and power-ups.

Oninaki is due for release on the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC Steam this summer. For more information please visit the official Oninaki game website here.
